Evinox has its own manufacturing facility which allows units to be supplied with the most appropriate pipework configuration for each installation, so significantly reducing connections plumbing on site. We can also pre-wire everything for you, so less electrical connections are required.
Then, there is reduced pipework and valve sizes which could save up to £55 per apartment on average.
No requirement for DPCVs which saves around £400 per lateral.
The pre-plumbing jig allows for primary pipework to be installed and flushed prior to the HIU being installed, reducing risk of theft and damage
There is no requirement for expensive pressure TRVs which could save £10 per radiator!
Because the HIU connects direct to the building TCP/IP network there is no need for dedicated cabling for two-way communications and energy metering.
Finally, because we can remotely monitor and change parameters on our units, we can run the underfloor curing routines for you, so your people don’t have to manually attend each unit which could save up to £50 per HIU.
By making the process remote, there is a real cost saving to be had compared to manually carrying out diversity testing using mechanical valve settings. Also, with remote heat meter and IP set-up, handover delays and risk of penalty charges arereduced.
After the HIU has been installed, the remote technology can save contractors time and money by monitoring, diagnosing potential faults and optimising away from site.
