Evinox provided a keynote speech, took part in a panel discussion and exhibited at HIL Housing Scotland Conference 2024.
Finian Parrick, Business Development Director for Evinox and inventor of the Minibems technology, delivered a keynote speech discussing ‘Retrofit & heat networks’. The talk, written by Finian, was wide-ranging and covered heat network problems and solutions, preparing systems to be renewables ready, regulation compliance, case study walk-through, with home and energy centre refurbishment and re-fitting.
Finian also took part in a panel discussion, with Gillian Campbell of Existing Homes of Scotland, Neal Rafferty of Scottish Government and Shona Fisher of Ofgem. Topics covered included clean energy for housing, Scottish policy and regulations concerning heat networks and efficiency, long-term financing and funding of systems. The panel was hosted by Floyd March, Editor, Peloton Events.
The keynote and panel discussion were well attended and well received.
Evinox exhibited at the event, where we were able to promote our integrated hardware, technology and services solutions for housing associations, local and city councils that manage communal and district heat networks.
We were able to address the opportunities and challenges presented from operating heat networks efficiently, and it was encouraging to see demand for Evinox products and services.
If you were there, then hopefully you passed by our stand and picked up some of our newly branded merchandise which proved to be a big hit!
